Hello, and welcome to Let The Dogs Run!
Our introduction covers a description of our dog park and a few of our procedures.
Car parking
On arrival you’ll enter our main car park, please park front first under the beech trees on the left as you enter or straight ahead, front first in front of the rhododendron border.
Please do not let your dog foul in our car park, many thanks!
MAIN CAR PARK
Our main car park is not secure and all dogs must be on a lead at all times!
Please use our main car park if you are using Mutley’s Play Park or Our Wild and Woody Wood.
Our main car park can also be used as an overflow for Archie’s Freedom Field.
Archie’s Freedom Field Car Park
Archie’s Freedom Field car park is independent from our main car park. If you have booked Archie’s Freedom Field please use Archie’s car park.
This area is suitable for 3 small cars or 2 large vehicles. Our main carpark can be used as an overspill for additional cars.
Assembly Area
Our assembly point is located in the main car park, on the left as you enter our main car park from the road. We have no gas or electricity on site but we thought it would be wise to organise an assembly point just in case!
Eggs For Sale
We have local organic eggs for sale in the blue box beside our main entry gate.

Dog Wash Area
To the side of the main car park, we have a burn. Just below the black pipe is a deep pool where dogs can have a swim to clean off or a paddle in the shallows before going home.
Using Mutley’s Play Park or Our Wild and Woody Wood
Our double gated entry point is beside the blue egg box. Double gated for added safety.
Please close all gates behind you, opening and closing one gate then opening and closing the other.
All gates have sanitiser……Please use them to reduce the spread of infection.
Main Reception
Our main reception is located in the middle stable. There you will find our sign-in desk complete with our sign-in register, our health and safety poster, fire action plan, what3words sign and description, vet contact details and first aid details. Private Hired Areas

Archie’s Freedom Field
Our 1.5 acre grass running field is accessed from its own car park suitable for 2 large or 3 small cars. You can park additional cars in our main car park. It has various trees, a water trough with piped water from our burn and a field shelter with picnic bench where you will find waterproof cushions, a sanitising station and its own sign in register. As you enter our field shelter on the left, you’ll find our sign in register. Please fill in the form, entering the date, your name, car registration, arrival time and on departure the time and sign out when your session has finished. If you bring some guests please ask the driver of each car to sign in too!
Mutley’s Play Park
Our 1 acre activity park has a variety of activities for you and your dog to enjoy! The field shelter has a picnic bench, waterproof cushions and a sanitising station. At the back of the field shelter there’s a water butt for topping up the water bucket. We leave rough areas for dogs to sniff and play. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes on areas of grass that we cut. A shovel is provided to help fill in the holes.

Wild and Woody Wood
Our ½ acre woodland is a lovely fenced woodland. It has an upcycled garden shed with a picnic bench, waterproof cushions and a sanitising station. Our woodland also has a muddy ditch and a bog in the middle of it. Much loved by many dogs it is a dog only area as in certain parts it is deep! We’ve put in a few wood chip paths through the area. It really is a wild untamed wood with lots of areas to sniff and explore!
All our exercise areas have
All our fences are built with deer fencing and rabbit netting. The rabbit net has a skirt of net that is pinned into the ground.
All adjoining fences, but one exception, have a 1 metre gap. They are all deer fenced on both sides
Red boxes are provided in each area. They contain a well equipped First Aid Kit suitable for humans and dogs and spare poo bags. Wendy’s number is on the front if you need any help or assistance. Above each box is a Fire Action Plan and what3word sign with our address should you need emergency assistance.

Gate Codes / Confirmation Emails
