Our Wild and Woody Wood is a very special place where your dogs can sniff, run and explore to their heart’s content. Our ½ acre woodland has a variety of terrain from open areas under the oak trees, a muddy ditch and scrubby foliage areas along an old railway banking where dogs loved rummage and explore. We have created a few winding paths through our woodland which are mainly laid in wood chip. A small bridge creates a circular route round the wood. Dogs can get a drink from the ditch which runs through the wood.
All the boundary fences of our Wild and Woody Wood are deer fenced and rabbit netted. Adjoining fences have additional rabbit netting added to double height thus preventing little snouts popping through!
In the near future we plan to add a shelter and some seating which will offer a place to rest weary legs, watch your dogs and admire the views over the surrounding countryside.
As you enter our woodland you will find a red box containing a basic First aid Kit , sanitiser, an ice pack and spare poop bags. On the outside of the red box you will find our contact details and address.
